My husband left for Brazil on October 19th and got back today. I usually don't announce such things until after they've happened because, you know, I don't want to invite any trouble. :)
My NaNo plan for this year is to do backwards writing - where you write most of your words in the first two weeks. My Day 1 word count is 1505 which is not quite the 3346 I needed to start the month. But I have confidence I can make it up. Besides, it is really much better for me to write 5k word days in the beginning rather than the end. I think it will be less stressful than trying to get them done in the last week of the month.
