Man From U.N.C.L.E.

So I just finished the second disk of the first season of M.F.U. It's mostly been goofy and camp so far but the last episode on the disk was notable for several reasons. First off the plot was something legitimately scary instead of a crazy ray to fight aliens or something equally bizarre. Second they totally threatened to torture a guy for information and make it look casual. Not so campy and wacky this time. Third and most importantly, there were two guests on the show. One was a Russian spy, who it took me a really long time to identify due to his round ears and crappy fake accent, and the other was a scientist that U.N.C.L.E. recruited to be a front for them in tricking the ruskies. They were played by Leonard Nemoy and Bill Shatner respectively. This episode came out in 1964. For you lesser nerds that's two years before TOS.

I'd really like to spin it into some amazing conspiracy or destiny or something, but I think it was just a coincidence since they both did lots of one time walk-on roles before Star Trek. But it was super geeky and awesome anyway.
