Middle dog Haley is in Winnipeg running the Canadian National Retriever Championship. 4 out of 10 tests completed, a third of the field of 83 eliminated, and Haley has crushed every test. Unofficial scuttlebutt has her in the top 3 dogs. I'm very pleased, but...
It seems one of the judges has a serious hate on for the trainer that's running Haley for us. Not good...he could be the one thing that stands between her winning (or even finishing) the trial. Just finishing is fairly prestigious (there's no second or third, only the winner).
I'm pleased with her effort so far though...we weren't sure she would ever calm down enough to run a serious test. She should be high as a kite by now, though.
