When the animal finally slows down, it appears to be a wolf- black with yellow eyes- backing into the corner of the room, which seems to be utterly leaden with traps. Blood is seeping down from its shoulder from a spike that had embedded itself in its skin from when it shot out of the wall. There's a net around his snout that he's currently trying to shake off, unable to open his mouth and bite at anything.
Romulus cannot speak in this form, but his discomfort is evident- there are mousetraps in his tail, he's bleeding in several places, letting out a pathetic noise from behind his makeshift muzzle.
