GDC 2005 Pix
so i finally got around to processing the pictures from this year's Game Developers Conference. go me!
on the first night, we invaded an irish pub next to the hotel... with increasing intoxication and volume as more friends, gamespy coworkers, and various developers joined the group. light levels were very low, so everything's kinda blurry...i'm sure it had nothing to do with how drunk i was. many rounds of jager were consumed:

kornelia was there, doing the usual "line up for me to publicly kick your ass" routine...which i'll never get tired of watching, plus i got to meet her very nice girlfriend. somehow, in all of the previous years she's done this, we'd never gotten pictures of the crowds of hundreds of people she can draw to the booth of whoever's smart enough to hire her...so this time i tried to get some wide shots of the crowds on the last day.

the rest of the pictures from this year are a pretty random selection of crap, both from the show and nearby around sf. probably pretty boring stuff to most, and if i wasn't a lethargic bum i'd caption these so you'd know who the various scruffy game developers were. do note that fargo won a bowling trophy for kicking ass at the Rocket Bowl kiosk in the indie games area.
