Experts in dog behavior?

There are a lot of books and websites out there written by a wide variety of people, from the laymen to those who claim they are experts when it's pretty clear they're not. So I'm curious. Who would you consider to be the real experts in dog/canine behavior? The people who really GET it, who maybe even have the degrees to back up their books or ( Read more... )

Oh my gosh lucky you! She's been at the top of my "dog expert" list but then I realized I couldn't name too many others. She's smart, knows dogs, and has the degrees to back up that knowledge. I really hope to see one of her seminars someday. I've read two of her books and just loved them both. And I also subscribe to her blog.

I know many of the names -- I was curious who had degrees and was starting to do some research but I thought I'd turn here to see what names others might come up with that I couldn't think of off the top of my head.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, WPR took her show off the radio a few months ago. But, she said that she might start podcasting soon. =]

I saw the thing about the podcasting. I'm really excited that she might. I'll definitely have to subscribe to that if she does.
