We have two basenjis. They are brother and sister who are
9 years old. They are crate trained. They are only in the crate
when we are not home.
Our next door neighbors have just gotten a new puppy. It is
driving my two crazy. They have chewed up the plastic tray
in the bottom of their crate. They are so active in the crate
it is moving across the floor. This is a new behavior which I
think is cause by the new puppy crying while the neighbors
are not home.
When the puppy is in the backyard we have to watch our
two who try to dig under the fence. We have limited their
time outside if the puppy is outside as well. We play with
them often and they seem happy. They play with each other
while in the house. I'm afraid they are going to hurt themselves
in the crate.
Any advice is welcome.
