re: Tattoos - I'm guessing you're aware of how tattoos are done? It involves drawing the design with a needle by inserting the ink under the skin. In some cases it involves scratching the skin several times while overlaying ink, and can lead to infections and stuff (the uh ghetto method that a friend of mine tried lol it turned out okay but it was gross). Considering that Haine can heal way too fast and how his body seems to push out/reject anything foreign that makes its way into his body, the only possibility for a tattoo is if someone did it really really fast on him; and as it's under the dermis, I'm not sure how long it'll hold, if anything, or if his body will just absorb it and throw it out some other way. I mean, he's got earrings. I'm guessing he just had someone stab the damn things right into his ear, otherwise the piercings would've healed up as soon as the piercing gun was pulled out. It's possible, but it's a stretch.
Skin - Haine is. Uh. Well manga has only told us that Haine's been experimented on, but never outright stated to have had his genetics merged with a dog's genetic coding, so I won't say he's half-dog just yet. I mean, as far as visuals is strictly concerned, the only thing we know for certain is that Haine has been genetically modified to be a super-soldier, and as far as appearances go he's completely human; he doesn't have additions like wings (Nill), animal ears (Lady Liza) or snouts (gangsters they shoot up in vol. 02). Haine's human when it comes to body temp, IMO.
addendum: I think you're confusing the berserker tendencies with the "angry dog" stereotype? The former is more a psychosis and the latter's more of. A pop-culture depiction of violent personalities, which shouldn't be taken any deeper than it is, I think.
Sickness - Chapter 11, page 01: Giovanni's medical data stats include immunity to diseases, status online/active. We can assume from canon that this stat sheet is the same for everyone, and considering that Haine is referred to as the best by both Prof. Einstelson and Giovanni, it's a safe conclusion that Haine is immune to diseases. He'll definitely not get any colds or what since, uh, if you can heal a stab wound to the chest in a matter of seconds then I doubt your body allows the time it takes to get virally infected.
Ah, thankyou so much for this! You are a DOGs pro! :D Yes, I see how Haine probably wouldn't be able to pull off a tattoo, but can get away with earrings because the hoops prevent him from healing up; much like if he doesn't take a knife out of his chest, this blocks his regenerative ability.

Can't help you with the last one, though, sorry.

I must say, I agree with everything you've said (and how!), but for the sake of fanfiction, a sick Haine means Badou has to take care of him, ne? >3

Which is pretty funny, considering Haine.
