Big Love
I blasted through season 3 of Big Love last week and it was EPIC. Thus I was ready for the season 4 premier. Thoughts:
1-The new credits are depressing as all fuck, and even slower than the old ones. Unnecessary change.
2-I love Alby. He cracks my shit up, particularly when he is dressed in the most nerd-tastic attire and cruising for dudes in a park with fucking binoculars. LULZ Also: perhaps you should be more careful about who you pick for your random encounters in the bushes, as it makes for awkward meetings later on.
3-Adaleen is a hilarious evil villain. She's like the Sue Sylvester of Big Love. Sometimes I think she's crazier and more evil than Roman. I JUST WANT TO MAKE YOU A BLT GET ME SOME BACON GET ME SOME BACON. Priceless moments. I really thought she was going to shove Nicki down the stairs and imprison her, not that she had Roman on ice. I do love that she felt that was the most appropriate way to reveal his death to Nicki though. Yikes.
4-Bill....ohhhhh Captain Crazypants. I love that you are so fucking smug and self-important and abusive to everyone around you for the sake of BUSINESS oh wait I mean God. Or....was it business? I enjoy that he is on the highway to Roman-town and doesn't even REALIZE it. Also, why on earth are the Blackfoots putting up with these stupid racist hick mormons? SWEET FANCY JESUS they must really want a casino to put up with this family. I sure wouldn't take that crap from them, from Bill least of all.
5-Ray! I love that Ray is still around as he is hot stuff. I'm sad that Nicki fucked that up because I really wanted her to dump Bill for Ray and enjoy herself while teaching Bill a lesson about respect. SIGH. Maybe it can still happen? I doubt it.
6-Ben for the love of all that is holy PLEASE never make me listen to your christian rock super group again, I don't think I can bear it.
7-How long until Barb totally flips her shit? My guess: 2.5 more episodes.

I really love Chuck but the lack of plot development is beginning to get REALLY ANNOYING. UGH. Why go through all this bs about removing the intersect from Chuck's head and putting it back and having him hook up with Sarah and run away and blah blah blah if you're going to bring us immediately back to where we were in Season 1?? I need plot developments. These writers are totally slacking off.
That being said, Awesome was extra hilarious in the last ep. I also enjoyed Morgan's epic party in ep 2. I need more eps with Morgan/Jeffster centric plots.
