End of an era
So. Here we are. I've copied over this journal to DW and from this point on will be posting only there.
I got my first LJ (not this one) in November 2002, so it's been a little over 14 years that LJ has been my principal fandom playground. I've been through previous migrations (an aborted move to IJ in 2007), but I think this one is going to stick. I'm a little sad, but to be honest, almost all my old LJ friends long ago moved on to pretty much exclusively living on other platforms. I guess it's more nostalgia than a real sense of loss, because most of the people I knew well have already left.
Anyway, if you want to follow me, I'll be posting on DW only as this journal won't be updated from today forward. I simply don't have the time to follow two flists; one journal and Tumblr already take up more time than I can really afford, so two it out of the question.
