dreams abroad
last nite i started journaling again, in my hardcover journal, and it inspired me to write in here. lately, i've had my heart set on leaving the country. i want to travel with every fibre of my being. i feel ready. before, i would say "i want to travel," but I wasn't actually ready for it. Now I feel like I know so much more of myself: my wants, my more actualized identity, my beliefs, etc - i feel ready to share that with the world. And to experience what the world outside of the US has to offer. I want new cultural experiences. And I think, because money is always an issue, I'm going to start with free w the birth right israel trip. I found the perfect trip, rather than focusing on ultra-religious aspects of israel, it is an adventure seeking trip that focuses on exploring the beauty of the lands of israel. Apps open in february; I really hope I can do this.
