A return to Livejournal

So yeah Facebook just sucks for blogging! I love to be able to make a simple point then expound on it a bit with is ridiculous on Facebook as:

1. No one reads notes, and the formatting of the notes is so rough that it makes for difficulty in emphasis
2. Dumping a long thought into a status message isn't right either, as you don't get that many characters in, and almost always have to go to comments to further explain.

My only solution was to blog at Livejournal and link to Facebook. I have gone through and privatized the vast majority of my pseudo-public posts 2,600+ from 9/2003 through the present. If you were a friend on LJ prior to yesterday you are still privvy to anything that was friends only. I will not be adding additional friends on Livejournal. If anyone would like to comment on something posted I'd prefer that the comments be posted on Livejournal (you can use your Facebook login to comment) as the comments are threaded on LJ and it makes conversations MUCH easier to follow.

From this point on all I will be posting on Facebook is status, checkins and music. I will also only post thumbnail photos any larger collections of photos will be on Livejournal. That about sums it up.
