Erika, I can't go up and down with this. You want to be apart so I do my best to cope with that and respect your wishes... and the moment I think I have a foot on the ground, you want me to come to Phoenix for Christmas, and you don't even mention why, so my ideas are mixed.
I can't be pulled back and forth, gaining hope, and being hurt...

You turned 18 and gained your first step into the real world where you could make choices for yourself. You're starting to gain alot of freedom now, especially once you gain a car and begin college. I honestly believe now that you didn't want to be tied down without physical contact. You were too young for that. but... I don't know...
