1. Reply to this post, and I will pick four of your icons.
2. Make a post in your journal including the meme info and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
Default - "The Unnamed Feeling": Any of my icons that are .gif's were made within days of each other with a "CoffeeCup" trial version. The four pictures that make-up this icon I thought brought together the "feeling" for me - which is the title of the blog. The blue "ninja-star" is a Metallica thing -
matron_jojo has this on a shirt. The amine-girl is from final fantasy I think - I just thought it was cute in a non-cute way, and I like the expression. The "Gorillaz" guy is more about the rain in the background, and the evil-grin eye. The eclipse is about the universe and an appreciation of cosmic scale.
Nat - The picture is apparently of Natalie Portman - I can't tell (nor do I care) if it's a fake. Everyone knows I've had a thing for her for a long time, and I reckon a girl that can look good even with a shaved head (never mind the wild gear Lucas had her in) is a good looking girl. The phrase "Beauty Never Dies" is from the White Zombie song "Blood, Milk and Sky" from the "Astro-Creep: 2000" album. For me, it (the phrase in context) doesn't mean that beautiful people don't die, or become not-beautiful, rather it means that despite trends or fashion, true beauty is deeper and longer lasting. There is beauty in everything.
Agent Bob - Had to have a Simpson's reference didn't I? I was actually trying to pay homage to the Australia episode where the Koala is hanging on to the helicopter as they leave. Also I have about 60 Sideshow Bob figurines from when Coles was selling them for $2.00 each (I paid about 20c each)
The eye - I used to have a gif of a few images of myself which I replaced with this one. I (like everyone) use different icons for different themes. This icon is supposed to be for the deeper issues, so I got a photo of myself and messed with the colours (using Paint .NET for those playing at home) to try to give myself an intense look.
