MC Mong’s Friendship Helped Dalmatian’s Inati Through a Rare Brain Hemorrhage
Promising idol group Dalmatian, whose members are preparing for the September 1st release of their debut single Round 1, are catching the public’s attention through leader Inati.
The ‘81er has had previous experience in the entertainment business - most notably as a member of the hip-hop group called People Crew, which included MC Mong, back in 1998. He also had a feature in MC Mong’s first solo album back in April 2004; but that was before he was rushed to the emergency room after experiencing severe head pain.
Inati received the diagnosis that he had a rare brain hemorrhage whilst in the emergency room and shortly after fell into a coma, where doctors said that it would be hard for him to wake up.
However, his truest friend MC Mong, who shared the practice room with Inati for years, went with him to the hospital, sobbing, “Please wake up. If you wake up, I promise I’ll make an album in your name.” MC Mong then proceeded to help nurse Inati in his state, and even went as far as paying for all of Inati’s hospital bills!
Perhaps through MC Mong’s dedication, Inati miraculously woke from his coma and spent the next five years receiving treatment and getting checkups before reaching the point of full recovery just recently.
Immediately after hearing the news of Inati’s full health, MC Mong began work with the six other Dalmatian members to make the album that he had promised Inati six years ago.
Inati commented,
MC Mong was the person that held my hand when I was at the crossroad between life and death. Before he was my entertainment superior, he was like a parent. He’s always sincerely watched over me and taught me a lot. For that I want to work my hardest to pay him back.
A representative of MC Mong’s company, IS Entermedia Group, relayed, “They are finishing up the album and in September 2010, the 6-member group Dalmatian, centered around Inati, will appear in front of the public. During that time, MC Mong has been giving his all into producing the album. Please anticipate it.”
