I just saw the
Ganja Queen documentary on HBO about Australian native,
Schapelle Corby. She was sentenced to 20 years in an Indodesian prison for the smuggling of about 10 pounds of Cannibus. Would such a case hold up in US courts without customs video footage, baggage X-ray photos, DNA testing, fingerprinting, tampering of evidence, etc.? It just seemed like there were so many inconsistancies in the case, what do you think? It's scary if she's innocent, but still doesn't seem just if she's guilty. She was resentenced to her previous 20 year verdict because she was caught using a mobile phone? Could that really be true? Umm....I can't pretend to know anything about US law, let alone the laws in another country, I'm just so curious. Thoughts?
