Beans is one who is usually quite fiesty and loves to use her feline balance to jump from table to counter to television stand or anything else in reach. When she's feeling affectionate, she walks straight up to you, rather walks straight up you - with her paws on your chest, she butts her forehead to your cheeck and demands her attention. But don't try to hold her - don't even go there.
My friend Tim (NH) asked me to keep Beans company this weekend while his entire apartment is away performing in Omaha. He dropped off the keys on Friday, mini multicolored strobe light on the chain and all, as well as instructions to enjoy the apartment with three or four other chill people.
Last night, Lauren (PA) and I attempted to establish a small gathering, with seemingly extinguished plans at every turn. My solution to this was to go to Vons and commandere a bottle each of Red Bicyclette's Syrah and Napa Valley Vineyards' Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bri (DE) came over with the stemmed crystal and we proceeded to indulge in the goat cheese, water crackers, and grapes that I acquired, washed down with liquid yumminess.
Bop-it EXTREME is an amazing invention.
Before Bri came over, she had been in the company of Aubrey(Gaylord, MI), James (NJ), and Jake (NY) who were planning to go to the top of this spectacular hill and drink eighteen Miller Genuine Draft purchased on a dare with a fake I.D.
James still wanted to Bri's company, so when our bottles were drained, we walked up this hill and drank two beers each.
Swinging on nearby swings reminded me of last summer's boyfriend (as so does reading the Guide to the Camarilla - informational companion for Vampire: The Masquerade).
Then the six of us came back to the apartment to watch Little Miss Sunshine. Lauren and I passed out and, in Lauren's words "I wonder what happened to them last night." I found Bri's phone and damp pants (she and I ran through the sprinklers) but no Bri or anyone else. Hm.
Well, it was fun.
By the way, Superbowl party today!
I don't even know who's playing, but I'm pumped...
