Wooo, Nostalgia!!!

Let's compare some old anime songs!
First of all "Aishite Night". For all the manly men on my FL who were too busy watching G.I. Joe or He-Man, the series is about a girl who falls in love with the lead singer of a super cool band with great hairstyles. His little brother always comes over to the girl's overprotective dad's restaurant for free lunch, so very soon they get real close. But then the girl has to decide if she loves the big brother or his gorgeous band mate (guess what happens next). This is the Japanese opening and ending.
Now I might be biased because of nostalgia, but I think I like the German version better. Notice how even theGerman ending is basically the same, except for the hidden credits. What's the deal with that, now the production team is dishonored for life!

We all know that Italy has a longer history with anime and overall good voice acting, right? So their ending sounds best to me. Oh but what's that, they never used it?? I wonder why... maybe they just wanted to have an overall different.... style for the series?

ITALYYYYYY!!??

Okay next up "Oyaho Spank". I hardly remember the plot of the show, even though I watched it all of the time. Apparently the female protagonist is sad because her mother dumped her at her uncle's place in order to participate at Project Runway in Paris, her father went missing at sea and then her dog got run over too. But all is forgotten when she gets a new dog whose owner died in a boat accident as well.
Again, Japanese opening, then the German version which I'm more used to, and...

ITALYYYYYY!!!!! Why again with the lame song!!! To be fair the Japanese ending was kinda embarrassing too but seriously.

Ah well, I guess Italy and Germany were still lucky to even have these shows. And more importantly: At least we had more than just one voice actor, huh?

musicpimp, nostalgia woooo
