So excited. Two more hours until I tune to Cartoon Network. So strange; I haven't looked forward to a cartoon with this level of excitement in a long long time. I guess it's just very refreshing.
Not much to say..except I discovered a seiyuu variety TV program called
"SAY!YOU!SAYME! (SYSM, Japanese only). It's like idols are popping up in and out...everywhere in the entertainment world.
Anyways, in SYSM, there's a series of anime shorts called "47 Prefecture Dogs" (47都道府犬). In these shorts, a single voice actor is appointed to voice a small dog character that represents one of Japan's 47 prefectures (ie: Osaka, Yamaguchi, Ishikawa, Gunma, Tochigi, etc). Apparently, each dog speaks in their prefecture's local dialect, and they take a motif in their appearances.
It's SO SO CUTE!
Here's an example!
For example: This is the Fukushima Dog (福島犬). It looks like a
okiagari-koboshi, a popular doll in that area. The dog is voiced by
Hoshi Souhichoru (保志 総一朗), who was born in Fukushima. He sounds so cute ><;
K-Sensei recently appeared too as the Aomori Dog (青森犬), which is an apple! !
AWWWW! Gives me...cute, cuddly feelings. (> . <;) ♥ ♥
