That, right there, is the million-dollar question that EVERYONE here is asking, to be honest.

Beef may be safe; buffalo and organic meats are probably safe (as Chinese grain products cannot meet the requirements of most organic certification programs) but one should rely on an independent certification unless you know that your state has a strong organic certification program.

Grains are likely safe as long as they aren't of Chinese origin.

Probably the best way to assure safety at this point is to purchase vegetable and grain products from local suppliers, and to get meat either organically or from local suppliers who are making sure to NOT feed their animals feed with Chinese-sourced grain. Right now, organic markets and farmer's markets are likely to be your friends.

As for pet foods, I do have the safe list still up, and these makers pretty much specialise in organic and holistic pet foods so they should be safe as long as you go for the organic-certified stuff or stick with beef or novel meats (like duck or venison or buffalo--venison and buffalo in particular are generally raised in organic conditions anyways).
