A new year, summertime, and a fresh start in many ways -- a new & improved work protocol for our employees, replacing the coffeeshop's roof, scheming to get a new car, finalizing a big new business deal, a fresh hair cut. I'm finding time for cooking once again, which allows me to make more of the kind of foodstuff that I have been sorely missing (read: hippie vegetarian one dish wonders). Still baking/watching over bakery, and I'm hoping to double up on my dance class time this summer. I'm finally finishing up the baby blanket for my new cousin that i started months ago. And in other news, I am delighted to have met a very impressive lay midwife here. I hope to learn more from her in the future. daily inspiration: the bright, cheerful bougainvilleas that refuse to be contained by the gates that hide away limeñan houses, and pour out over the sidewalks with unrelenting color.
