Rules/User Info Discussion
I've tweaked the info/rules for dogeared_books, please tell me if you have suggestions or complaints.
Have a book without a fandom?
Have a book that you are sure others would appreciate?
Read a really bad book and would like to warn others against it?
Want to read along and discuss books with other people?
Have fan art without anyone to show it to?
Need a place to put those fandomless icons, fan art, graphics etc.?
Any book or book fandom, slash, gen or het, sci-fi or non fiction welcome.
1. More than three icons go behind a cut.
2. Images larger than 300 x 300 pixels or with adult content do too.
3. No knocking someone else's choses or opinions.
4. No flaming. No Add Spamming. No Running. No Bombing. No Peeing In The Pool.
5. No complaining when you are banned for breaking rules.
Spoiler Policy:
If your post contains icons, art or details of a plot twist please cut it and add sufficient warning. Commonly known details like Frodo Lives are perfectly OK but be aware that not everyone has read the book even if it's 50 years old.
A review might not reveal a plot twist but discussion inevitably will, please mark your post as 'Review' or 'Discussion' to minimise accidental spoilerage.
Book Clubesq activities will be organised at a later date.
A fair amount of time will be given to get your hands on a copy from a library/friend.
