And oh, while I'm incoherently thinking about it, how do you think John and Rodney meet? I was imagining Rodney heading out to Nantucket while on sabbatical (and, knowing Rodney, at a completely ridiculous time of year, like November *g*), and he means to stay there for only a few months but after he meets John, and with John being John and all, ends up staying.
Yes, I think something exactly like that! I think Cate is writing when Rodney ends up staying staying, not just on the island, but in John's house, but anything up to that is wide open! eeeeee *anticipates!* :D :D :D
I'm bouncing a couple of ideas for John around my head, but I want to run them by you first, since it's your AU and all :D When something comes together, I'll let you know!
