I finally Hobbitted today, and no spoilers, just to say that it really felt so nostalgic and comfortable and familiar and lovely to be in that world again. :D I do believe that LOTR is what spurred me onto LJ in the first place all those years ago.
I was looking, and I never even did a "fic year in review" last year-I guess because I felt like I wrote so little? I wrote even less this year, OH WELL. I did beta a heck of a lot of stories, so at least I had the joy of encouraging the beautiful writings of others! :D And, of course, I also fell headlong into yet another new fandom.
