We had a pretty sunset tonight-it's been a strange autumn so far, rainy and unusually warm by turns, and most of our leaves are quite late in changing, and at sunset it was mild out, and very quiet and still, and I could hear a squirrel chittering and see little fall warblers darting among the (still-green!) leaves, and all of the reds and oranges looked deep and intense in the fading light.
