oi... oh how the holidays SUCK

By the way...I'm alive! In case anyone was wondering, seeing as how I haven't posted for a while.

When it comes to working in a grocery store during the holidays (or ANY retail store for the matter), one tends to get a little "bah-humbug"-ish while working in said store. I'm by no means any exception to this observation, especially right now. I will be somewhat happier when the holidays doth end. I'm just hoping everyone will be pleased with their gifts, I did a little variety this year with some bought and some handmade. *squee* I'm anxious to see Daniel's face with his gifts...

Anyways, a little scare happened on Sunday when my grandma fell and cut her head open. Didn't break anything vital but needed 8 stitches and a three-day stay at St. Jude's because of a blood clot formation at the laceration. Grew a little bit, but that was to be expected according to the doctor and the good news is it didn't grow anymore so she didn't need surgery to remove it. She came home Wednesday afternoon and despite being in pain, she seems to be doing better.

she's bound and determined to give ME a heart attack

Parents were out of town for Thanksgiving, which threw our decorating routines out of whack, which makes for one chaotic looking inside of a house...sad, because my mom really likes decorating for Christmas and with all that's been going on, she's gotten so burnt out on everything, even decorating. Granted we have A LOT of Christmas decorations to work with, which is looking like we'll have to downsize and NO after-Christmas sales for us! *sad face*

Went to Disneyland with Suzanne and fellow friend, Trevor on Wednesday. Had lotsa fun despite the gi-normous crowd for a Wednesday and despite the fall I had rushing up the Space Mountain exit stairs. Got a right nice bruise from that and does my leg hurt! Yes, lesson learned, no running up stairs!

I just found this out when looking through my userpics for LJ: I can now upload SIX pictures instead of THREE!!! *SQUEE* *happy face* do check them out please when you get a chance...The picture of Space Mountain was taken by my friend Suzanne via her camera phone. Not bad for being at night and on a camera phone!

Well, Christmas is around the corner, so Happy Holidays to everyone!!!
