I have been caught up in the One Piece Role Playing LJ, this is why I haven't been sighted on this journal in quite the while. If y'all are interested in the banters that go on or if you want to amuse yourself on how big One Piece geeks we are, search for me: zoro_swordsman (did anybody doubt that I would be playing the swordsman?) then click on my friends link to see the mayhem.
Candice's Birthday Party was Bleach-tastic! I went as a lame Orihime. I can't bloody SEW, otherwise I would have gone as someone else! I was happy that Candice liked my Kon Cupcake cake! I took pictures of it and when I finally figure out hwow to upload stuff on DA, it'll be there to see!
That's the good news by the way...
The bad news/stuff:
11-5-05, Saturday- I find out that my grandpa on my dad's side passed away Friday night and that the funeral is this Friday up in Hesperia. The sad thing is that my grandma has alzheimer's so bad that no matter how many times my family says he's gone, she forgets and thinks he's still here. The other sad thing is that although he was my grandpa, I wasn't nearly as close to him as I was with my mom's dad (Papa) so I'm not all broken down and crying a lot (I may be doing that on Friday though, that's when it'll really hit me, I'm sure).
11-6-05, Sunday- starts rag...*gawd dammit* Now there's the contributing factor to my inherent bitchiness on Saturday. But Sunday is the kicker. The night manager tells me that my closer for night has been administered to urgent care(!) for high blood pressure problems. Most likely due to the enormous amount of stress work and her family puts on her (I'm glad to hear she's alright, though). So I try to get a hold of my other closer...CAN'T...so I end up staying for 2hrs and 45min longer just to actually close up the department. My hours for that day: 7am -6:45pm. WOW...I'm gonna hear about it from the Store Director on that!
11-7-05, Monday- In my efforts to get a hold of my other closer to try and bring her in her Sunday night, I also tried to inform her that I'll need her to come in on Monday to take over for my stressed out closer...AGAIN, CAN'T GET A HOLD OF HER... by this time I'm pissed because now I have to go in, miss Anime Club, miss my boyfriend at his work, and miss hanging out with my friends because you know, IT'S MY DAY OFF AND ALL! Worked 10am-7pm instead of the intended 12pm-9pm because I had to be at work at 5am the next day (because of the whole "must have so-many hours in between shifts" rule). Not a happy camper because according to Chibi-chan I missed out on quite a bit...
11-8-05, Tuesday- wasn't all that good of a day either...got all caught up in back-up cakes though, THAT makes me happy!
I can't wait until Thursday...that's my other day off!
