William had a very advanced, very capable digital press in the printery, the layouts for which could be done entirely on the computer and required no hunting and pecking to set up.
Despite this, he still occasionally put together editions on the old press. It wasn't entirely out of nostalgia; he worried that leaving it unsated would only lead to trouble. Presses were like that.
Today, though, he wasn't preparing an actual edition, he was just keeping his hand in, laying out the usual classifieds for the hell of it.
Well, that and the fact he was trying to word a notice of particular importance to him, which was difficult when you didn't know the name of the person concerned.
