It occurred to William as he left the compound that he didn't actually have that specific an idea what Rupert did with his days. Oh, there was bound to be some flirting and possibly generalized rough-housing of some variety, but he had no idea who he did it with, or where.
The thought nagged at him in some subtle way, although it wasn't enough to make him interested in who Rupert was currently pursuing or how long the list of paramours was, just now.
But today, at least, he had a fair idea. It wasn't yet noon, New Year's Day, there had been a party the night beforehand, which meant Rupert could be one place and one place only.
He rapped on the door - such as it was - to his brother's hut and hoped he was alone in there.
