so these holidays I realise that I havent really gone out that recently than I wanted to. But I guess when your in the phase of building into a crazy habit of reading manga, drawing manga and watching soul eater, it doesn't really matter.
My Dad knows the person that owns the manga store I hire from so I don't need to pay that 15 dollar amount per book in case I break it, therefore now I can borrow LOTS AT ONCE. HAR HAR HAR. -starts slobbering like a crazy bulldog-.
Stardust, the book, was originally very interesting to start off with, but now that I think back to the movie, I don't really want to continue reading it. I don't know why, but my will to read things, especially books, is slowly going away. D: Why is this happening? Maybe it's coz I havent read something I like for about a month now.
On the literate side of things, I have already gone back to continuing my story! {Yes! FUCKEN FINALLY}, after ten years of procrastinating and staring at the 130 paged microsoft word, I've finally added another chapter to the lot!
I've basically got the whole plot, even the ending, in my head right now, when I'll actually complete it without executing it in a terrible way, I have no idea. But I seriously need to get this completed. I'm afraid I might not do that because I'm horrible at multitasking, therefore drawing up a manga which is completely irrelevant and typing up a novel length story is not exactly the perfect idea. o_x
Ah My manga currently consists of 6 pages, the last page which is coloured very messily because of my cbfed-ness with photoshop coloring -.- it's so bothersome when you have to figure out the right layers to work with, and when you erase the wrong thing, like a line from the manga itself, you'd probably feel like throwing the mouse on the ground and smashing it into pieces with a baseball bat, yes that's often how i feel (not exactly). But this fortunately, has not happened yet, or maybe it has but I fixed it up with a bit of photoshop skill. LOL.
Anyway, I'm looking to improve, but i really need to improve in manga art, because I can never get things right.
Comparing my work to other work is like, awesomeness to petrifying disaster. D:
YES, PREPAID CREDIT CARD is on the way, Dad was like 'I'll buy you one when I have time', and yes, basically I nearly died from excitement.
Badminton today, you know, I actually played . o_o. Lack of sportiness for like 5million years really sucks, i know. but self esteem sticks in and plays its role when I feel like I'm gona suck shit in absolutely everything. Maybe playing badminton isn't that bad, neither is tennis, but anything besides that for me is absolute game over. ESPECIALLY SWIMMING, not that I really suck at it or anything , just that I despise it so much that if I throw myself in water, I'll shriek. (that's so not true), no, really.
Okay, so now you know that I'm really scared of bathers. D: wtf?
I'm currently reading this manga from the library in english called Dr. SLUMP, about this person who creates a robot girl, and I have to say I praise it for its humour LOL. even though the art seems crappy dragon-ball-z style, but yeah it's a fun read.
PS. I just found out how scary Doujinshi's are after taking a glimpse of this SOULXMAKA SOUL EATER DOUJINSHI, it was really really corny.
even though the artwork made the characters look a lot cooler (that has to praised).
Besides all this I also bought this SIGNSPOTTING BOOK from BORDERS! it's so awesome, it has all these pictures of failed road signs/warning signs etc., with funny captions under it, I shall scan some up.
Some are really fail because they can't even translate the chinese on the signs properrly -.- LOL, fobsigns.
