It's ALWAYS pleasant to find out you had money you didn't know about.
I went to my parents today, and of course they weren't home. But I checked the mail, and it turns out I still have 60 dollars in my checking account. So I'm going to buy some airtime tomorrow. So I can talk to Jordynne. Nobody else calls me, except for the two Alex's.
And fuck it, I'm buying another King Crimson CD. Because they're officially my new favorite band EVER. It's taken them a whole year to dethrone (I feel the term is appropriate... KING... whatev) Primus. That was a mighty feat to achieve, but I can't think of another band more deserving of the title. They've been around since 1969 (with new/different members on almost every album), released 13 studio albums, 16 E.P.s, 18 live albums, 7 compilations, and 6 videos. And I bet most of you have never heard 'em. They have their cult following, and that's about it. Easily the most underrated band of all time. Hell, they had to compete with the Beatles and Pink Floyd at the beginning of their career. Always hailed as the band to destroy both acts, but never recieved the press to usurp them. It's in my opinion that King Crimson has always been WAY ahead of their time. Almost far ahead for their own good. God. There's nothing like relaxing after a crappy couple of days in the dark by candlelight and listening to Walking On Air.
