As unpleasant as living in a dungeon can be, it's rather comfortably cool in the summer heat. A shame that can't be said about the outdoors; if nothing else, I think that muggles have better ideas than we do in terms of summer clothing. Cooling spells strike me as rather unnecessarily complicated when there's the option of not wearing robes at all. I do wish I had bothered with something to get rid of pests, though. I don't believe whatever bit me could have been venomous, but it rather itches. It is quite a shame that so few of you are able to enjoy the gorgeous flora that blooms at this time of year, what with all of the studying that is going on.
