Things are looking up, I think. Everything has been much calmer, for the most part, and I'm rather looking forward to the upcoming trip. Hopefully, nobody will be foolish enough to attempt anything dangerous. I have far too much confidence in people, I'm sure. To be honest, I'm not particularly interested in how the ministry is run, but I do enjoy travel. And, of course, there's no better place to shop for tea than London, is there?
I'm told the United Kingdom's celebration of motherhood was today? I hope everybody remembered to send at least a message to their mother. We may be at the age when some of us don't get along with our parents, but that doesn't mean we don't owe them our respect and love. I sent my own mother a gift despite the fact that we're not British -- is that odd? The holiday seemed like a good enough reason to me.
