I'm glad to see that thus far, NEWTS haven't been as difficult as our professors are fond of telling us. That's good; I wouldn't enjoy finishing my schooling with failure.

I've still yet to decide what I'll do after the school year ends and I've gone back to France -- that, a least, didn't change when my sex did -- but no matter. I'm sure I'll be able to find an appropriate career soon enough. Planning ahead is overrated, isn't that what they say? Really, it's a shame that we're expected to find work so soon after graduation, isn't it?

It would be nice if there was a greater number of socially and financially acceptable ways to spend one's life aside from standard careers, I think. A shame we all have to fit ourselves into boxes sometimes.
