I know that there were a lot of objections to the visitors last weekend, but I couldn't have been happier with it! It was a good chance to speak with my classmates' parents, and Mother enjoyed being able to see more of the school. Even those of you who are happy to be away from your parents should be glad that they got to visit and be assured that all of us are reasonably happy and comfortable here.
I declined to mention it to them, but my sisters were particularly adorable then. Victoria asked me to come back to Beauxbatons -- even though it's really much too late in the year to do so -- and Marie said I ought to at least become a Ravenclaw, since the dungeons are so gloomy.
Come to think of it, why are so many of the dormitories in the dungeons? It's a bit depressing down here.
