Melbourne has welcomed my return with rain and wind. it's a dreary 0(lightly circle thingy) degress outside and it looks like it'll only get better from here

My favourite thing about this weather is when I take a drive out to the Yarra Valley and you've got the hills showing and then the fog like a blanket covering the valley. Then you drive through the Black Spur and it's sunny and frosty on the other side. I was up at Lake Mountain a couple of weeks ago and it was a perfect perfect blue day, lovely for skiing, yet when you looked to the valley below it was like that view you get from a plane above cloud - just a carpet of soft whiteness below.
I was sitting by a river with a friend the other day, freezing while we waited for the others to catch us up, and I think I summed up my opinion of the cold pretty well. I like the cold weather, I just don't like *being* cold.
Sorry if this has been tl;dr
(That's: too long; didn't read. Tomorrow we'll move on to trolling and more advanced acronyms :P )

Screw you. I'm glad we're going to the Northern Hemisphere where it's warm. You can keep your miserable Melbounre winter. Me, I'll take the sun.
