montana_csi and I were discussing it OOC, and while it's logical to have IRL workplace restrictions, they wouldn't restrict it like that in CSI because that would take all the fun out of the series. We'll just play it however, we really don't care. Most of what we do is out of the lab anyway, or quick run-ins in the lab, which we can logically do if someone's pulling overtime (which *cough* might, y'know, happen often... purely by accident, of course).

Meh. I think that while the boss stuff is important, it also makes Mac less fun for you to play. It's no fun playing the sheriff. :(

Agreed. Here's the thing about the series, it's great because of the character interaction and if they cut out all of it because of NYPD regulations then the series would suffer. So it conflicts with the real world, and so you're suck in some sort of limbo. Things get bent to make the show more enjoyable, that's how stuff goes.

Oh, yeah. Definitely. Something I love about Vegas that I'm not a fan of with the other series' is that there are different shifts, and you're on the shift you're on. It's not complicated like it is with Miami and NY. (Although I did always wonder what happened when someone had the night off or took vacation... 2-3 CSIs to cover the entire Vegas grave shift?!)

I have long since given up trying to figure out these shows. I love them. LOVE THEM, but it just doesn't make sense some times. I am still puzzled at the over use of flash lights in Miami daylight. Of course the only thing I like about Miami is the Horatio that plays on sws :3

Did we tell you?! We're doing an AU sort of deal where Lindsay's NOT pregnant/not with Danny, and Danny gets involved with Luka after running into her after she's cleared of her father's death. It's, ah, interesting.

Miami is way too soap-opera-ish now. I used to like it but now I love NY, minus the way they're treating Lindsay's character and the big!death at the end of the season which makes me VRY VRY SAD as I love that character. :(

I've heard about the death, I hope it's not true, I like the character too. Miami reminds me of how the show would be run if women with fake tans and fake tits wrote it after a pitcher of Mojitos.

Currently the 2yo is asleep in his "big boy bed", which basically means I got sick of him hogging my bed so I set up his pack&play (which we never used- we never had a crib, either) right next to my bed, padded it all nicely with blankets and pillows, and he sleeps in there. It's great because I can usually score a few extra minutes in the morning while he plays with his teddy bear.

I'm pretty sure the death is true... especially after the promo for the next episode.

It's really fun. I don't know if it's unlocked but it's on Luka's journal.

Oooooooooooooooooo so you have a REAL two year old. I thought you had a fake one or something. Which just goes to show that I have been on the internet too long. I love little kids, my ex had a niece and a nephew around that age and they were absolutely adorable.
