Yep he adores Mac as a friend and surrogate father. He's also been after me to write a little fic so he can express some of the feelings log jammed in his head regarding Mac.
He hasn't really lied to Mac (with the exception about his sexuality and his father being alive; which the first one I'm certain Mac has a clue about) and he doesn't really want to. He pretty much bares himself before Mac. Which is sweet, because Lee does NOT do that.
At this point Lee's beginning to trust Mac enough to do what he's told/asked by Mac without questioning too much. Sorry, he just glommed on to your boy.
For Mac, Lee reminds him a lot of Danny. Who's smart, dedicated, passionate, and a little hot headed at times but is just really looking to make good so Mac feels a bit of a connection with him. Mac really is a reluctant support figure, he'll offer it but not before someone needs it. He's like an odd sort of hugging post.
Yeah, he's picked up on the fact that Lee is gay and it doesn't bother him in the least. The only time it would bug him is if it got in the way of his job.
It's okay, I love how you write actually, I was going to make a comment on the one you recently posted about the woman giving up her baby it was beautifully written.
Why thank you! *blushes* Yeah, that's Dean's mother. I was inspired to do a few entries with her since Dean was talking to girl_ofsecrets about his birth mother. Have no firm plans to have their paths cross, but we'll see.
"Odd sort of hugging post" I like that. Lee needs a good hug every now and again. One that comes from friendships and caring and not just a hook up from a club. Poor Lee, he so hates being gay. He's so terrified everyone he cares about will desert him over it. His family did, so why not the new people he cares about? Stupid, hardheaded, angry boy. He's going to evolve but since Lee's in his infancy it'll take some time.
He's just glad to have Mac's friendship and a hug when he needs it. ;D
I am interested to see how the story line goes, either way they are great reads on their own. So keep up the good work!
For as emotionally distant as he is he gives out a lot of hugs, maybe that's the one thing he knows will be emotionally satisfying without giving too much of himself. But it can't be easy for Lee, and Mac knows that. He certainly wouldn't abandon him over his sexual preference though he's confused to why he would do it if he hates himself for it.
The growth of characters is always a good thing. I look forward to seeing it.
You're just too sweet. Seriously. Thank you. It means allot to hear that someone is enjoying my fics. I never know who's reading unless they mention it to me in passing during conversations, or happen to comment. I just decided to keep the RP and fic part separate, so that the if anyone wants to romantically or otherwise hook up with my boys/girls they are free to do so
( ... )
I'll start commenting a bit more, I never know if it's appropriate or not, but I definitely like the way you write and your characters.
The meme's are just in fun, and I need to write more prompts for him. Conversation is easy, like in SWS, but getting the facts down and the writing correct is more challenging for me. Thank you for saying something though.
I read the Ash and Lee fic, it's completely too juicy. LOL
LOL Sometimes I yell at the TV too, so its completely understandable. You might be able to stomach NY more because they are CSI's and detectives - which is a mouth full when you are explaining your job but pretty convenient when chasing bad guys. The only thing I like about Miami is the Horatio Caine Mac talks to. He's a blast.
