I'm Arland. That means "Pledge". You're in Wonderland, this is the mansion, and right now we're under siege by our mirror opposites, while some of us are trying to get Saix back from the other side.

I think I can help you out. I'm the bridge between the spirit world and the real world where I'm from. I've been to the spirit world before.

It's complicated. Just...normally we don't have so many people opposed to us running around, so watch your back. They're looking for a blue-haired guy named Saix on the loose.

I'm not sure if its a spirit world or what it is, over there. It's just where our mirrors are. The opposites of us. And her, the Queen.

Anyway, if the mansion just brought you in, I guess you'll be here awhile. There are events which are usually kind of embarrassing or weird. There are weird riddle warnings usually, before that happens.

Actually, we're letting the mirrors find and take back their own traitor. I'm just staying out of their way, and keeping a close eye on my friends that are still on this side.

I'm the Avatar. I'm supposed to maintain balance between the world of spirits and the real world.

It's . . . not much more specific than that. Back in the Four Nations, I have to figure out how to keep people from arguing. Or breaking each other's stuff! Or killing each other.

I'm gonna have to learn more about this place so that I can help out. I hope things aren't as bad here as they were in the Four Nations last year.

I don't know what a keybearer is, but light and dark are one of them. Hot and cold, hard and soft . . . fire and water, earth and air, good and evil.

So they're the opposites of us. Mine must be an Earth Kingdom avatar. It took me way too long to learn how to earthbend. If you're good, does that make your mirror self evil?

Some say. I'm not really sure what mine's like, I've never been able to really see him. You see you can't be on the same side as your mirror at once.

I've dealt with it a little bit before. Last fall, I got stuck over there in the mirrorverse for a three days or so.
