YES

I can't even do Yuuto icons afterwards because I'm no longer able to tell what makes decent lighting.

On the other hand, I'm now familiar with most light tools in Photoshop.

The replace color tool is pretty awesome too. I've used it to tone down the red in a lot of my icons.

Try it! If you mess around with it, you'll eventually find something that works for you. It's been ridiculously helpful for me while cleaning up Kaidou's icons as best as I can.
