Because I suck at communicating . . .
I got my promotion. Believe it or not, I'll now be in the training department at work as a "coach." There's something incredibly wrong with that whole scenario, but I'm dealing with it. Add to that, last week, my sup told me that I had more patience than almost anyone else she's ever known. Me? WTF? Patient? Woman, do you KNOW what you're talking about? I'm the person that doesn't leave messages when I call someone because I can't wait for their 15 second message to be over so I can leave one. There's not a person on this planet that would ever use my name and patient in the same sentence. Well, except if the words "mental institution" were in the same sentence. Anyways, the point is, I got promoted. Yay. Now I can spend less time taking calls. And that, is a beautiful thing.
