i wish you would...
i went to b&n yesterday by myself. it was nice, being alone in a store full of strangers. i sat on the floor and read parts of a book on poetry. i wrote draft one of my graduation speech. i read an 80 page kurt vonnegut book. it was terribly funny. i thought i wanted company, but i really didnt. i thought i needed company, but its okay to be alone sometimes. it was odd; i felt so out of my shell, just sitting there on the floor, close enough to a window to see the cars driving on 1960. to see couples holding hands. to see old people standing in the parking lot, ignoring the car alarm that was going off not 20 feet from them.
i need to do this more often.
