my new coat!
i bought a $130 coat from Sportsgirl. eeeek. that's 1/4 of my weekly paycheck. my only reason for it.... "it rains all the time in gold coast now... it's like.. i HAVE to have it.. and also cause it's winter and and and... it's down from like $200!! so it was a bargain k. leave me alone..!"
so yes. i splurged. but it was an end-of-semester,doing well in uni(i dunno my results yet),moving out of home, making new friends, winter make me feel good present to myself! haha.. and technically it's only one and a half day's worth of work. so.. yeah.. it's pretty alright... right? ahha
i'll have to take pictures when i wear it out.. hmmm.. maybe on tuesday when i go to PA Casino. not sure. we'll see...
Sing star with Keegan and Ash last night was fun! i wore my coat! ahha. well surfers is always cold cause of the beach! so yeah.. can't blame me for wanting to look good in town!
i've been working heaps this week. which means the money rolling in the bank will be good. can't wait for Glenn to visit.. then i can spend my money.. and the potential of a holiday in Melbourne as a "return to uni" present for myself is also getting me excited. nothing much has happened cause even if it did happen, i wouldn't know about it cause i'm in the confines of IGA. and also.. i can't wait for tax returns.. so i can get a new phone.. my phone has been dying on me for ages...
I guess living independantly is actually kinda fun. you feel the freedom, and you earn and pay for everything yourself.. bills, rent.. it's fun. just a little. tuesday, i also get to meet my mentor.. so hopefully that goes well..
well, it's 11.52pm and i have to wake up early cause i have to go to work.. heh. what's new.. and the weather is not one to be appreciaited either.. it's soo cold and gloomy that all you want to do is stay and lay in bed allllll day long. couple of movies and bevies and you're sweet. my new favourite food? warm oats... ummm.. yum.
