Rushing Around

Before you read on, there will be no need to check my Livejournal for anything new. This post will use webspace on both sites, but neither space will differ in information. Onto how things are going:

Marriage: Great. And yours?

Employment: It is more work to find employment than it is to be employed.

People: I have not made any new friends in Elizabethtown or otherwise.

Car: Broken. It is the color of bruise, but it is beyond sore.

In General: Collectively, things are fine. We visited Muhlenberg County and had a dandy time.

Neighbors: Our male neighbor has three girlfriends that we know of. As to if he is hiding more, I doubt it; all three of his femalians know of one anothers relationship to their object of affection.

New Annoyances: Many old things and many old new things or new old things.

1: A news reporter, who repeats the same stories over and over throughout the day, but changing the order of the sentences each time, gets paid to report the news that other people relay (a good use for her English degree I think. She says her name as such: "And for WHAS I'm Mindy Pee-duur-sen." She loves to stretch the center sylable of her last name.

2: Politcal rhetoric from both the Left and Right and people who actually believe there is a difference. What is more annoying than that is people who then believe that any of it makes a difference.

3: Driving 100 miles a day.

4: Being centrally located with few visitors.

5: Winner for most poorly managed store in Elizabethtown? WalMart SuperCenter! Sam Walton would urinate in his casket, turn over, and drown in it (if he were not already dead).

6: Having 70 stations, but four of the Big 3 (and Fox too) and more than one Lifetime chanel.

7: Merging onto a highway from another that connects at an angle that is NOT 90 degrees. Sometimes I don't know which way to signal. I think I have discovered a new direction.

8: Why must companies manipulate my ineptitude to convert liters to gallons to fluid ounces and so on? Small containers of Gatorade are measured in a different system than some of the largers ones, thus making it more difficult to discern the better value. Maybe I am just stupid.

9: Check Cards: Why would I opt to use that option, when I could choose another option (WITH THE SAME CARD) and not be charged extra.

10. Eastern Standard Time. The setters of rules and regulations have stolen an hour away from me, never to be returned until I move back to the Central Time Zone. When visiting Muhlenberg County, I was loaned an hour only to have to give it back before returning home. Someone is holding my hour ransom.

That is all. Take that Jeremy and Zane! I have updated for once!
