Part 1 ~ Part 2

I'm utter crap when it comes to summaries. Uh, let's see, there's more sharing, then there's a soupçon of dirty-talk, topped off with a liberal portion of hot, sweaty man love.

A/N: Some of you have commented on how Ianto's depression rings true. Well, that's because, at least as far as this story goes, it is true. I've had some, uh, issues to work through lately and apparently this is the best way for me to do that. Go figure.

“Are you going to fuck me?” Ianto sounded as exhausted as he felt. “Is Captain Jack going to fuck the pain away?”

“Don’t talk that way.” Jack was stern. “It’s tacky. You’re smarter and funnier than that, I know that for a fact. Hell, you’re the funniest one in that place,” he said, gesturing in the general direction of the hub. “Now lay down on the bed. At this point it would take a writ from the Shadow Proclamation to get me to fuck you.”

There was a playful timbre to his voice and it went a long way toward lightening the atmosphere in the flat. They both knew that they would end up fucking before the night was over. Barfing up his secrets for Jack, while most undignified, loosened a knot inside of him. So often people hold secrets inside of them because they fear that, if spoken aloud, the secret will become fact. This notion was, in Ianto’s case, reversed. Giving voice to his shame brought it into the light; reassuring him that, yes, he was strong enough to keep living. Though this knowledge was not without some alarm, for when he bared his soul to Jack, he realized just how deeply he felt for him. That is one secret Ianto vowed never to reveal. When he lay on the bed, Ianto felt a little bit lighter, if not a touch melancholy. Jack sat beside him, his back against the wall; Ianto stretched flat on his back, arms crossed like a corpse.

“Why are you here, Jack? You barge around, stomping with your big boots, commanding everyone to do your bidding. That may work for saving the universe, but it doesn’t usually go over well with humans, namely me.” Ianto sounded stern, but there was mischief in his eyes.

“Oh, Ianto. You should know by now why I go stomping around in my big boots.” Jack looked at Ianto and Ianto shook his head.

“The challenge. Ever since I’ve known you, you have dug in your heels and refused take no for an answer. Quietly getting what you want; never letting on to what’s in that pretty little head of yours. You’re one challenge that I might not be able to win. And that is irresistible.”

Ianto rolled onto his side, facing Jack. “Modesty. It suits you, really.” This dry line made Jack throw his head back, a short bark of laughter filled the room like lightning.

“I hired you, didn’t I? You stood in front of the goddam car and made me hire you. I should have run your ass over, but no, I stopped. And here we are.”

Ianto stretched out his index finger and began lightly tracing Jack’s arm, following the patterns of his skin.

“Don’t tell me you’re a coward,” Jack went on. “What you did? With Lisa? Bringing her from London, hiding her from us. That takes monumental courage. Hell, judging by your outfit when I met you in the park that night, you were willing to sell your ass to get the job. That takes courage too. In fact, I almost did a double take because I thought you were someone I’d seen before.”

“Oh, Jack. If you had ever seen me before, you would have recognized my face that night, even if it wasn’t covered in come.”

“There you are, being tacky again. I had no idea you had such a filthy mouth.” Jack scooted down the bed so that he lay on his side, face to face with Ianto. Both men kept their hands to themselves.

“Well,” said Ianto. “I’m sure that if you had ever taken the time to actually speak to me you would have found out a lot of things.”

“Like what?” said Jack, moving his knee so that it came to rest between Ianto’s thighs. His arms remained crossed against his chest, hands firmly in his pits.

A cold flash of panic crackled through Ianto when he opened his legs for Jack. Three weeks ago his robot girlfriend had tried to kill not only him, but the man who was currently flexing his thigh against Ianto’s balls. But it wasn’t until right at that moment that Ianto felt like he stepped off the roof.

“Like the fact that I have a dirty mouth, Jack.” There he went. Ianto knew that whatever happened next (and he knew exactly what was going to happen next) was entirely his doing.

At this moment Ianto’s life could go in any number of directions. He could become an alcoholic and spend the rest of his days sinking further and further into a mire of self-loathing and guilt. He could dabble around until he found a drug with just the right level of destruction to allow him to enjoy watching his life flame out before him. He could go out and fuck whomever he chose or, even better, whomever chose him. But it took so much effort, keeping up that level of misery. Maintaining such a strict level of grief. Eventually it becomes work, and Ianto was so tired.

This time Ianto was going to give himself over completely to something -- because Jack was so much more than a someone -- that just straight up felt good. Jack picked up on this immediately.

“I knew it!” Jack raised one fist in an exaggerated show of victory. “It’s always the quiet ones. That’s the oldest trick in the book.”

“Please, Jack. Don’t insult me by pretending you were unaware of my potential. I refuse to believe you would have hired me if I struck you as a prig.”

“Don’t be daft, I can spot potential talent a mile away and you know that. Though how you knew it then, I have no idea.” Jack reached over and pressed on Ianto, urging him to move closer, then rubbing circles on his back.

“I’m very thorough in my research, sir.” Jack’s chest felt strange, yet familiar beneath Ianto’s hands. It was a tactile recognition that something had changed within both of them. Ianto was very much aware of the hot blood rushing to his mouth and cock. The realization that he could do anything he wanted with Jack hit him like a shot.

While Lisa had never been a shrinking violet in bed, it was understood that there were some things that Ianto would never once consider asking for. Like how much he wanted to push his face, and dick, into her ass.

Before her Ianto had never really noticed womens’ asses before. Yes, obviously in the overall picture, the ass was taken into consideration, but never was it the focus of his attention. Ianto was much more of a neck and chest man. A nice ass was just icing on the cake.

But Lisa, Lisa had an amazing ass. It was like a pair of fantastic tits, just beautiful. He couldn’t walk up stairs behind her without reaching up to pinch it. Once she playfully told him that her feelings would be hurt if he didn’t do just that. However, any time he tried to pay her ass special attention, she would brush him away. “I don’t like that,” was all she’d say, and Ianto never pushed her.

Now he’s in his bed with Jack. Jack also had an amazing ass, but it was a completely different kind of amazing. Jack is physically stronger than he is and has made it perfectly clear that Ianto can bite his ass as hard as he wants. Ianto was addicted to the way Jack sounds when he shoves his fingers into his ass. He gets louder with each one and it drives Ianto mad every single time.

“Where the hell did you come from?” Jack rolled Ianto onto his back, straddling him.

“Newport, sir.”

“Are they all like you in Newport?” Jack pressed his dick into Ianto’s hip.

“So far I’m the only one I know of.”

Ianto didn’t have much to say after that. At one point, while Jack was riding him, Ianto reached up and slapped Jack hard across the jaw. All Jack did was grab Ianto’s wrists and fuck him harder.

It was because of thirst that they eventually settled down. Their mouths so dry they were sticky with too much come and sweat. Ianto went and got them both a drink of water, dropping them off on his way to brush his teeth. When he got back into bed, he found Jack curled onto his side. He might have been asleep, Ianto didn’t ask. He didn’t say anything.

Before long Ianto drifted off to sleep and he didn’t stir when Jack got up to leave. He didn’t wake up until late the next morning. That Jack was gone was not a surprise. In fact, Ianto was relieved to not have to face Jack in the light of day. Yes, their relationship had change in a way that he might never understand, but that didn’t mean that Ianto was necessarily ready to make chit-chat over breakfast.

Ianto lay in bed for a while, turning things over in his mind, pleasantly failing to find any reason why he should stop sleeping with Jack. When he rolled to get out of bed, something slick and crinkly lying on the pillow next to him surprised Ianto. It was the day’s puzzle, all folded and ready.
