[hey, strange bird frolicking in his master's leaves. there's a small electric dog barking at you from Sealand's porch.]

[dodo_master]

[The dodo looks on curiously. What in the world is that? He takes a few steps closer.]

[micronational]

[it's a little dog made of electricity, and he seems pretty ticked off at you for messing with his master's leaf piles. yap yap yap!]

[dodo_master]

[He's not quite sure what to with this. What's wrong with playing with the leaves? Don't you want to join? He squawks at the dog, trying to invite him to the fun!]

[micronational]

[the dog keeps yapping because what is fun. but now Sealand shows up, and is staring at the bird kind of funny]

What are you, a funny turkey? Roy, shush.

[dodo_master]

[There's some squawking and flapping from Heph. Alas, he really can't communicate with anyone here, but that never stops him from trying.

He waddles a bit closer, though, to get a better look at you and your strange dog friend.]

[micronational]

[and Sealand squats down to eyeball the dodo from a better angle] You don't do anything weird like shoot lasers, right?

[dodo_master]

[He blinks and cocks his head at you. What the heck is a laser? Sadly no, he's just your run-of-the-mill extinct birdie.]

[micronational]

[staaaaaare. nope, doesn't look like any lasers. oh well.] Can you fetch like Roy, then?

[dodo_master]

[Oh, he does know that one! Luther back home had taught him that! He dances back and forth on his feet excitedly and flaps his tiny wings.]

[micronational]

[aw hell yeah. grabbing the ball he uses to do this with Roy and tossing.] Ok, show me what you've got!

[dodo_master]

[He's all excited now! He excitedly makes his way over to the ball, but he's a stumpy bird and he doesn't exactly run fast. But he'll pick it up and drop it off by you, looking awfully proud of himself.]

[micronational]

[this bird is so cool. you get a congratulatory pat on the head!] I've never seen a bird do that before. Did someone teach you?

[dodo_master]

[He squawks at you! This means "yes" but you can take it as you will. Also, headpats make him very happy. You're the new best friend, even if you have a weird dog.]

[micronational]

[yeeeeah this town can be cool sometimes he guesses.] Do you eat crackers? I've got half a one left over from lunch...

[dodo_master]

[He'll eat almost anything you give him. The promise of food seems to make him even happier.]
