This is probably the fastest I've ever put a mix together. I finished the book about 24 hours ago, and in those 24 hours this mix flew together, partly from things I'd been listening to as I read the last third of the book.
Maggie Stiefvater's Linger is an amazing few hundred pages. It picks up where Shiver left off, and then takes you down a twisting emotional road with four grown-up children. If you've never read either, I highly suggest you go pick them up.

Here be spoilers: An additional note about White Blank Page, a song I tagged for Isabel and Cole: I don't usually do notes like this for mixes, but I think this one needs a bit of explaining because it could easily be taken the wrong way. It is really song I chose mostly about/for both of them instead of about/for each-other, if that makes any sense. But tell me now, where was my fault / In loving you with all my heart. It's not each other, but different people (Jack, Vincent, possibly Angie) that they've loved in different, mostly non-romantic ways but ultimately lost. Cole admits in the narration at one point towards the end of the book that he and Isabel don't have the kind of love Grace and Sam do, and in fact aren't anywhere close. Cole says: "I don't think what we had could get to this, even if you gave it a thousand years. I was suddenly glad tht I'd left Isabel on her bed and then alone at her house." Can you lie next to her / and give her your heart, your heart / as well as your body. No, Cole/Isabel, you can't.
