Sims 3 : Stiller Legacy - Post 1.1

Oct 20, 2009 13:28

I'm not generally one to abide by the rules of "legacy" Sims gams, or even really have the attention span to keep playing past the first few in-game days, but the other day I was bored. So very bored. So I made a blonde, Paris Hilton-like sim. I gave her a stylish name and a short pink skirt and huge sunglasses. And she's so much fun, I'm going to see if I can carry on her adorable, blonde genetics for three more generations.

I didn't realize until after the first kids were toddlers that I wanted to do this and post about it, so screenshots until then are fairly sporadic.
I'm also not following traditional legacy rules here. Cheating and mods abound.

Meet our founder, Ivy Stiller. Ivy began life in game as a young adult with the traits flirty, party animal, schmoozer, absent-minded, and snob. She's vapid, shallow, and dumb as a box of rocks. Filthy rich, too, thanks to my good friend "motherlode". Her lifetime wish is to be a Rock Star. Her favorite music is Pop, and she likes the color pink and eating sushi.

She exercises, a lot, mostly for lack of anything else to do.

Also because she loves to party. Formal parties, rocking house parties, you name it she's there. Here she's chatting with Cornelia Goth, the first of her many, many best friends.

Sometimes I drag her to cliffs so she can practice her guitar skills as the sun rises.

She met a young man, Hunter Beckham, when he moved into the neighborhood. They hit it off right away, and a week later they were exchanging wedding vows at the beach.

A young adult, Hunter's traits are Good Sense of Humor, Great Kisser, Daredevel, Charismatic, and Athletic. His lifetime wish is to Become a Superstar Athlete. His favorite music is Pop, and he likes the color green and gorging himself on spaghetti.

Of course she forgot to check the time of the wedding against his work schedule, so she had to deal with a few uninvited guests while she waited.

Eventually he showed, and they exchanged rings well after the sun set.

As soon as they got home, Ivy changed into her lacy pajamas and promptly went to sleep. I woke her up, and she and Hunter got it on. I hear baby music~

As soon as they had finished, the both bolted down to their basement gym and began working out. I immediately feared that they would spend the rest of their married life ignoring each other, but the second I moved them into their larger legacy mansion home-- Ivy's first house had no room for kid's bedrooms!-- they started showering each other with attention.

I didn't get any pics of her during her pregnancy, but three sim days later Ivy rushed to the hospital to give birth! And by "rushed" I mean "she went into labor, then decided to go for a nice swim". Oh, Ivy...

Their poor maid was so startled to see that, she wound up dropped the trash she had been carrying! Uh-oh!

Both Ivy and Hunter wanted a boy, so naturally up popped the baby girl message when I finally got them to the hospital. I named her Rebecca, and she rolled the traits Couch Potato and Loves the Outdoors. Odd combination, but I can deal with it.

Then came the second window. Twins, okay, I can do twins. Their second daughter is called Chelsea, with the traits Excitable and Genius.

Then came the third window. One "try for baby", no fertility treatment for either parent, and they have triplets. Of course. Their third daughter was named Zoe, and has the traits Absent-Minded and Excitable.

As Chelsea's traits were picked, Ivy ticked over past 50 traits learned! What a social butterfly!

In the next update: Does Ivy accomplish her life's goal before growing into an adult? Does Hunter get the son he desires? Will the triplets grow into well-adjusted toddlers and children, or will they be monsters because of their parents' neglect? How many parties can Ivy throw!?
