Summary: (nonmutant AU) Charles Xavier- rich, introverted, and academic- begins his senior year of high school in 1962. Erik Lehnsherr, despite his own efforts, is the first person to properly reach out to him. Both are astonished to find a human being on the other side.
"I rather thought you'd like to fuck me with them on, actually." Xavier smiled, and damn him, despite it all- his shakiness, the exhaustion clear in his eyes, the fact that he looked like a drowned cat- it was a good smile. "All my clothes on, against the floor. You wouldn't want me on your bed right now. Come on, professor. Rough and dirty."
The hell of it was that Xavier probably didn't even mean to sound dirty. He knew he'd just sound silly if he tried that, so he went matter-of-fact. And absolutely truthful.
Erik is a professor and Charles is his student but this feels rather different than most teacher/student fics. There's a seriousness to it, a realism, maybe?
