I posted on a Yahoo group for people who are into Norse history, etc., asking for help locating Norse animal-shaped brass necklace terminals, or any brass terminals suitable for a viking-style necklace. A guy responded to say he hates brass, and that I should buy the silver terminals I said I don't want (and can't afford, anyway), and that I should get them plated in gold to ~save money~.
Ow. XD Haha.
1. No call to say you hate the thing the OP is looking for.
2. Gold plating rubs off. :c Unacceptable to pay for gold that won't stay.
3. I can't afford gold any more than I can afford silver terminals that come out to over $40 USD.
4. I like brass. Brass is a suitable colour and material for my project. I specified brass because I want brass.
